  1. 1 Why Renting Bikes in Noida Is Better Than Buying Bikes In 2022 ?

  2. 2 Hey riders. So I've been pondering over the thought of what to do about the shattered state of commuting around the city. Talking specifically about Noida or greater Noida. From the time since the pandemic struck and thrashed or conventional means and attitude of commutes. This has resulted in an absolute chaos in the generic way of getting around this huge city of Noida. Covid has taken many jobs, or if not that then resulted in the decrement of incomes by a huge margin. Its only obvious that this has resulted in an aversion in spending where money can be saved, and owning a vehicle in the pandemic has proven to be both a boon and a bane. Boon because it keeps you insulated from the world around, but a band because there are added costs of ownership to personal vehicles. There's fuel, there's maintenance, insurance, road taxes, etc. It's almost a pain, for those who are struggling to make ends meet, and still have to spend to get the the places where they work (if they're unlucky enough to not get the opportunity to work from home). I've been living in Noida, or rather greater Noida for a good about 5 years now, and I've seen the landscape of travel come to a drastic change, not for the good. People refrain from public transport, for obvious reasons, and then can't afford owning vehicles either; so I've seen a huge spike in the number of people who have decided to take up vehicles, especially bikes, on rent from various companies. Now I personally have been rendering the services of rented bikes in Noida for a good 2 years, for reasons that make more sense since the pandemic time. The primary reason to benefit from renting a bike here is the cheap and value for money investment that it is, you could rent a bike here for anywhere between 100-500 rs a day, depending on your biking preferences. The secondary benefit is obviously the fact that one bike can serve multiple people, so that helps the environment, which I believe is trying to avenge us lately, so that's a consideration. The last reason why I would prefer a bike on rent is because you just pay for what you use, either on the basis of hours, days, or just simply kilometres, so you're not chucking money into nothingness while you're not using the conveyance.

  3. 3 Noida is particularly a very busy city, even since after the pandemic, and a bike just cuts on the time you need to travel to get to places. But yeah, always make sure you're renting bikes from decent companies out there, or you might find yourself stuck paying hidden costs after use. Always check for the condition of the bike and click a photograph of the odometer before you even start moving, so you don't find yourself in a position where you're being held responsible for some previous damage or paying extra for kilometres you haven't travelled. Prefer bikes which can be booked via an application to be on the safer side, generally good companies who invest in such IT infrastructure are a safe choice. I'll tell you some I have used personally, one of them is a quite new concept, it's called Freedo. They are relatively new and their bikes are also brand new, so I like the neatness of that, and they also sanitise the bikes after their return so they're pretty covid safe there. Another one is Rapido, I guess we've all been around that, they're widespread and established, though their prices are a little high compared to Freedo's. These are the two I keep switching between, and I've had a stress free commute for the last year now. Anyway, I always look forward to help out my fellow riding community, and I make sure that my experiences form the opinion so once you read this and go out to rent a bike in Noida, it doesn't present you with any surprises. So I'll sign off, until next time. Hit me up here if you need help, always there for you guys! Cheers.
