A Degree In Chemical Engineering Francois Xavier Morency holds a degree in chemical engineering and was previously an integral part of the management and business development strategy for Schlumberger. He would go on to work as Managing Director of Canadian Supply Services Operations for A.P. Møller-Mærsk. His most recent business endeavors include participation in a small investment firm where he focuses on equity investments. Mr. Morency enjoys hiking, downhill skiing, and back-country snowmobiling. Managing Director Of Canadian Operations Francois Xavier Morency focuses on equity investments, participating in both traditional markets and in businesses in the early stage of growth or at the startup stage. He is a trustee for small family trusts emphasizing conservative management of assets. Mr. Morency was previously Managing Director of Canadian Operations of Supply Service with A.P. Møller-Mærsk. He speaks several languages and has successfully managed complex international businesses in the transportation and engineering sectors.

  6. An Avid Outdoorsman Francois Xavier Morency is an avid outdoorsman with an affinity for hunting, fishing, and snowmobiling across backcountry Newfoundland. He played a vital role in the management and business development of Schlumberger throughout North and South America. For his work with the group, he received a number of awards, including the North America Offshore Vice- President Service Quality Award. In 2010, he moved to Newfoundland, and he has traveled extensively throughout the world—for work and pleasure.
