Climate Changes in Korea

  • Slowly changing temperature climate to subtropical climate
    • Southern sea temperature of Korea has been risenby 2°C over the last 30 years
    • In 2100, temperature is expected to rise by 4°C and rainfall by 20%.
  • Korea was ranked 10th among the largest CO2 emissions countries
    • Korea will implement the “Kyoto Protocol” compulsorily during the second commitment period (2013~2017)
