How to Create a Facebook Business Page in 6 Easy Steps First things first, take a deep breath! This is not going to be as complicated as you might think. In order to create a business page on Facebook, however, you’ll need to have a personal Facebook account if you don’t already have one. Once you set up a personal account, follow these steps. Step 1: Go to Facebook Page Creation, or from within your personal Facebook account click the drop-down menu in the upper-right corner and select “Create Page.” Either way, you will be presented with two options—” Business or Brand” and “Community and Public Figure.” Choose the former, since you want to create a Facebook Page for your business. Under the “Business or Brand” box, click “Get Started.” Accurately fill out all of the fields on the next screen. These fields will include your Page Name, Categories, Business Address, and Business Phone Number. At any future time, you can change the Category, but please bear in mind that you will not be able to change your Facebook Business Name. www.ftxdigital360.com

Your profile photo will essentially be the custom icon that appears with every post and comment you make. For this reason, most businesses choose to upload their company logo. On the other hand, your cover photo will only appear at the top of your Facebook Business Page. Make sure your profile photo is 170 pixels wide by 170 pixels tall, but be mindful that Facebook will automatically crop the square photo into a circular shape. Make sure your cover photo is 820 pixels wide by 462 pixels tall. However, the upper portion of the photo could become cropped or behind the bleed depending on the device that’s used to visit your Page. Step 3: Fill out your Page information, which is the next step in the Set Up process. If you choose to return to this step later, simply click “Settings” then “Page Info.” Either way, you will need to provide a 155-word business Description, select additional Categories, fill out your Contact Information which should include your website, add your location, hours of operation, and any other pertinent information you would like visitors to have access to. Add a CTA Button to your Facebook Business Page. The CTA Button, or call-to-action button, will appear directly below your cover photo. The CTA can link to Messenger, your Website, Facebook Shop, or any other destination you choose.
