Steps to Enable Virgin Media Modem Mode

To enable Modem Mode on your Virgin Media Hub, start by connecting your device to the Hub using either Wi-Fi or an Ethernet cable. Open a web browser and go to http://192.168.0.1, then log in using the admin password found on the bottom of your Hub. Once logged in, navigate to the Advanced Settings section, select Modem Mode, and confirm any prompts. Choose the option to enable Modem Mode and apply the changes. The Hub will then restart. After the reboot, connect your personal router to the Hub using an Ethernet cable plugged into Port 1. Your Virgin Media Hub will now function solely as a mod

  2. Setp-1 Start the computer/laptop which connects with the Virgin hub and open the updated web browser in it.

  3. Setp-2 Then, you should enter the IP address 192.168.1.1 or 192.168.0.1. To make sure you are typing the correct IP address, have a look at the router label.

  4. Setp-3 Press Enter key to start the search and you will get to the interface login page. Here, you must enter admin credentials (username and password).

  5. Setp-4 These credentials are given in the user manual or on the label of the Virgin media router hub.

  6. Setp-5 Type the details and press the Enter button or click on the Login button, you will get to the interface window.
