  • HIV/AIDS, sickle cell disease, genetic diseases and other life-threatening diseases.
  • St. Jude has developed protocols that have brought survival rates for childhood cancers from less than 20 percent to 70 percent overall.

St. Jude: A Hospital Without Walls

  • St. Jude has treated children from all 50 states and more than 70 countries.
  • In 1962, the survival rate for acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL), the most common form of childhood cancer, was 4 percent. Today, due largely to treatment protocols developed at St. Jude, the survival rate for this once deadly disease is 93 percent.

The Up ‘til Dawn Program

All of us are born for a reason, but all of us don't discover why. Success in life has nothing to do with what you gain in life or accomplish for yourself. It's what you do for others.

- Danny Thomas, Founder St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital

  • Up ‘til Dawn has raised more than $12 million for St. Jude since it began in 1998.
  • Up ‘til Dawn is on 185 campuses nationwide, making it the largest collegiate campus philanthropy in existence today.
