UGC NET EXAM 2.What is UGC Net UGC NET is a national level computer-based online entrance examination conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA), an autonomous institute constituted by the Government of India, for the post of Assistant Professor and Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) in universities and colleges of India. It is conducted to select the candidates. UGC NET is a national level examination which is conducted twice a year.This examination is taken in the months of June and December.This examination generally paves the way for postgraduate students to obtain research fellowships and PhD degrees 3.UGC NET Eligibility If you want to give UGC NET exam, then you should have post graduation in any one subject and you should have at least 55% marks. Talking about your age limit, if you want to do research fellowship, then the age limit is 30 years. But if you are appearing for Assistant Professor then there is no age limit. 4.UGC NET Exam Syllabus The syllabus of UGC NET exam is very easy. This examination is conducted in all languages and subjects. Candidates can choose the language and subject as per their choice. In this, examinations of subjects like Environment, Physics, Chemistry, Maths and Arts etc. are also taken. Candidates can choose their favorite subject and appear for the paper. Their information is given in March and September.There are two question papers in this examination, which are of 300 marks. In this, the first question paper has 50 questions and each question has 2 marks, meaning the first paper is of 100 marks, one hour is given to solve it and in the second question paper, 100 questions are asked and Each question has 2 marks, that is, the second question paper is of 200 marks and the time given to you is 2 hours. In this, in the first paper, 50 questions related to General Aptitude are asked and in the second paper, questions related to the subject selected by the candidate are asked. 6.How to prepare for Net Exam
UGC NET exam is different from other exams, you can prepare for it by following the steps given below. The most important thing to pass any exam is the exam syllabus, so first of all study the exam syllabus and understand it well. To pass the exam, prepare a list of all the subjects and after preparing the list, study each subject as per the time. Make notes well so that it becomes easy for you to understand. Take the papers of last 5 years, solve them and study them and see from which subject more questions come.
