It requires you to lead a lifestyle abstaining from everything that is as far as possible from exploiting any living organism. This means completely excluding any commodity or food item. You have to give up using clothes, makeup, and accessories that have been manufactured using animal products and by-products. Veganism works on the ethical and moral principles that every sentient being deserves a chance to live.

You have to instill in you the ideology that your actions must not have dire repercussions on other living beings.
