Asthma is a significant no communicable disease (NCD) that affects both children and adults, and it is the most frequent chronic condition among children. Asthma symptoms include coughing, wheezing, shortness of breath, and chest tightness caused by inflammation and constriction of the small airways in the lungs. An Overview Of Asthma Symptoms Asthma symptoms vary from person to person. Asthma signs and symptoms include chest tightness or pain, shortness of breath, and trouble sleeping caused by coughing or wheezing, cold, or the flu. You may not experience all of these symptoms at the same time if you have asthma. At different times, chronic asthma can generate a variety of symptoms and signs.

  2. Types Of Asthma: Classification and Severity Asthma involves inflammation and swelling of the airways, decreasing the amount of air that can move in and out of the lungs.
