  • The Goofy Ones was a very successful funny programme that got recognition by making jokes and putting each other in embarrassing situations.

  • The original group was Wanderley Cardoso, Ivon Cury, Ted Boy Marino, Renato Aragão and Manfried Sant’anna. But they become famous when Antônio Carlos Bernardes Gomes and Mauro Faccio Gonçalves replaced three of them.

  • It started in 1966 at TV Excelsior of São Paulo.
  • On TV Record they were called “The unsociable ones“. When they moved to TV Tupi, they changed the name to “The Goofy ones" and there they got the highest audience ratings.
  • In 1977 they made their third and last move from one tv station to Globo network.
