Google Glass is an augmented reality wearable computer with a head-mounted display (HMD)that is being developed by Google in the Project Glass . It is the idea that the Internet and computers will be accessible anywhere at any time without having to use one's hands.

  1. Google Glass is an augmented reality wearable computer with a head-mounted display (HMD)that is being developed by Google in the Project Glass . It is the idea that the Internet and computers will be accessible anywhere at any time without having to use one's hands.

Development • The Glass project was started "about three years ago" by an engineer • named BabakParviz • Glass is being developed by Google X Lab. •   The main body of Glass is a soft-touch plastic that houses the brains, • battery, and counterweight (which sits behind your ear). There’s a thin • metal strip that creates the arc of the glasses. • Google Glass displays information in a smartphone-like format hands- • free • It can interact with the Internet via natural language voice commands, • and uses Google's Android operating system • Google is considering partnering with sunglass retailers such as Ray- • Ban or Warby Parker

  4. Photography and video You just say word and Google Glass will take a picture or record a video - you will never have to touch the hardware. The photos and videos will be stored on the 4GB flash memory of the device, and can also be shared on social networking websites .

  5. Send message and Google Search Google Glass will show you text messages you receive and allow you to reply to them via voice commands. If you are in the habit of Googling things a lot. You simply need to ask a question and the device will pull the answer from the internet

  6. Google Translate and Google Map Google Glass translate a phrase or sentence from one language to another . The widely used Google Maps are integrated into Glass, so that users will be able to chart the course of their journey or look up locations or establishments via voice commands.
