Impact of air pollution on Children

The WHO has linked the role of air quality to adverse effects on child development. The report notes that outdoor and indoor air pollution affects children's health, as children often spend equal amounts of time in outdoor and indoor activities. Not just for babies, women exposed to polluted air during pregnancy are more likely to give birth prematurely and with low birth weight.
