What is the Cool Comfort Wrap™? • The Cool Comfort WrapTM is the first cold therapy/compression device for patients to use after dental and plastic surgery procedures to relieve pain, swelling, and muscle soreness. After any dental or plastic surgery of the face and jaws, this device provides cool compression to the face and jaw, preventing leaky ice packs and disrupted sleep.

  3. How Does the Cool Comfort™ Wrap Work? • Cold therapy is provided by Cool Comfort WrapTM, which regulates the body's temperature. This system applies cold therapy for an extended period of time between ice changes by circulating ice and water from an insulated fluid reservoir to a pad at the postoperative site.

  4. To purchase the Cool Comfort WrapTM, do I need a prescription or note from my doctor? • A prescription is not required for the purchase of a unit. A swelling prevention unit can be purchased by anyone who is having oral surgery or a long dental procedure.
