OnPage SEO On-page SEO (also called on-site SEO) is the practice of optimizing individual web pages to rank higher in search engines and get more organic traffic. It revolves heavily around optimizing pages for search intent, but also involves creating and optimizing HTML tags like titles and meta descriptions.

  3. In other words, on-page SEO is not just about strategically placing keywords on your page. That advice is massively outdated.
