  1. Looking For Disability Support Services in Queensland If you are looking for support for someone with a disability, there are many options available in your area. The Queensland Government funds 14 organisations throughout the state to provide funded advocacy services. These organisations work with people to find the best service possible for them. There are also resources available on their website to help you find local services. These agencies provide assistance with shared support arrangements and daily living skills. Their mission is to support people with disabilities to live the lives they choose. They also help to create inclusive communities that value everyone's contributions and

Disability Support in Queensland are provided by both the State Government and the local councils. These councils are part of the Australian Local Government Association, an organisation of local governments across Australia. The Department of Communities, Child Safety and Disability Services provides a range of social services to its citizens. The Minister for Child Safety and the Prevention of Domestic and Family Violence leads the department, as do Ministers for Disability Services, Seniors, and Multicultural Affairs.
