  2. There are 2 hands on a clock.  an short( hour) hand a long( minute) hand

  3. The Short (Hour) Hand Is the shorter hand   Can go up to 12 Count by ones Is the 1st hand you read

  4. The Long (Minute) Hand Is the longer hand  It's read after the hour hand Count by fives Tells how many minutes after the hour 

  5. AM and PM AM-morning midnight (12:00am) to noon (12:00 pm) PM-Night noon(12:00pm) to midnight (12:00am)

  6. Time to the Hour Look at the short hand The short hand is on the 12 it means o'clock The hour is written with    a colon and 00mins. example- :00

  7. Time to the Half-Hour Look at the minute hand The minute head is on the 6 it means half past/half hour Half-hour is written        with a colon and 30mins. example- :30

  8. Read and discuss the picture with your partner to decide if it's am or pm. 

  9. Sort the clocks with your partner into hour and half hour.
