  2. Analog Clock A analog clock is a clock that represents the time by the position of the hands on the clock.

  3. The Hour Hand • The Hour hand is the short hand on the clock. • It represents the hour (1 through 12).

  4. The Minute Hand The minute hand is the long hand on the clock. It represents the minutes in each hour. There are 60 minutes in each hour.

  5. Digital Clock • The digital clock uses numerical digits instead of hands to display time. • The hour is displayed on the left. • The minutes are displayed on the right.
