Tripindi Shradha Puja Vidhi, Dates, Cost & Benefits

In the Indian Hindu tradition, three types of debts are recognised. These are Pitru runa (Predecessors' Debt), Rushi runa (Saints' Debt), and Paramatma runa runa (Debt of God). If a man performs pooja (worship) and fasting, etc as told by our dharma shastras, he gets Permatma Runa's relief. The man gets relief from Pitru Runa by doing shraddha, pitru pujan, etc. All kinds of Yadnya, Shraddha, Tarpan etc are expected to perform by Bramhins. Apart from memory day, it can be performed on a regular basis every day. Kamya Shraddha is also referred to as Tripindi Shraddha. The soul of the deceased person, whose Shraddha has not been consistently performed for a span of 3 years, becomes Pret (Just like a Ghost). Amavas is Pitaras' day. Shraddha ought to be done on this day.

Where and when can Tripindi Shraddha be performed? • In any part (Shukla or Krushna) of the month of Shravan, Kartik, Pousha, Magh, Phalgun, Vaishakh, Tripindi shraddha may be performed on any day of Panchami, Ashtami, Ekadashi, Trayodashi, Chaturdashi, or Amavasya. • Sun usually stays in Virgo or Libra from 16 September to 15 November drilling. • Pitars are permitted to come freely onto the earth during this time.

  6. It's therefore more advantageous to do Tripindi during this time. • Only at Trimbakeshwar, which is a pilgrim of Lord Shiva, can Tripindi Shraddha be completed. • Tripindi can be performed at any time during the year, specifically in Trimbakeshwar. • Tripindi Shraddha should be done only at Trimbakeshwar, which is a pilgrim of Lord Shiva. • Especially in Trimbakeshwar, Tripindi can be performed any time during the year.

  7. The Right to do Tripindi: • The couple, husband and wife, are entitled to do the Tripindi together. • A widower is allowed to do this as well. • This formality can also be performed by an unmarried person. • If after her marriage, the Hindu woman goes to another family. • She is also not eligible to perform the Tripindi or Shraddha for her parents. • But for those deceased who were related to her husband's kin, she can do tripindi or shraddha. • At the moment of carrying out this formality, a brand new unwashed white dress should be worn.

  8. Benefits of Tripindi Shradha: • As per the procedure stated in Shastra, Tripindi has to be performed. And to get the best results out of it, one should have full faith in God. • Some persons, while they are alive, trouble their relatives or parents. • In order to show and maintain their so-called social status, they carry out several formalities after their death. • Such display functions actually take place on large scales. • But we can't satisfy the soul of the deceased person for whom all this exercise is performed by doing this. • And after doing this because of the soul's dissatisfaction, we have to face several issues.

  9. If Narayan Nagbali is finished, then Tripindi does not need to be done separately. • For more details please visit us:- kalsarpapooja.in
