  1. My Trip from Delhi to Rishikesh with a Friend: A Journey of Joy and Discovery Travel does not consist only of going somewhere, but of the stories that we make in the course of it. I have just come back to Delhi with my friend on a gorgeous trip from Delhi to Rishikesh and it was one of the most memorable trips in my life. The road trip consisted of laughs, talks, and music, and the anticipation of visiting one of the most religious and adventurous cities of India. The selection of an appropriate travelling companion was also of the essence, and we decided to use a taxi service in Delhi to Rishikesh to ensure that we have a comfortable ride. Beginning the Journey: Comfort and Convenience When making a road trip, one would wonder the first and the most obvious thing: how should we travel? We had explored various alternatives after which we settled on a cab service in the between Delhi and Rishikesh. It was not only convenient but also allowed us to have liberty to take the road trip at our leisure. The distance between Delhi and Rishikesh is approximately 240 km and on average, the travel takes 5-6 hours, based on the traffic. The ride with a professional driver and a good car made our journey feel hassle free. The other benefit of a Delhi to Rishikesh car hire was that it would be flexible. We had the freedom to pull over at any time of the day as we chose to take pictures, get a bite to eat or just to enjoy the beautiful scenery of the road. The clean interiors, smooth ride, and friendly driver allowed me to have the right mood of the journey. The Road to Rishikesh The road gradually turned into picturesque highways and greenery as we went through the busy streets of Delhi. The background music, as well as the invigorating breeze, provided us with the impression of stillness and adventure. We stopped multiple times on the way, drinking chai in the roadside stalls and having some local delicacies. Such a thing you miss not having the liberty of your own Delhi to Rishikesh cab. Another sightseeing experience was driving past Haridwar. Holy Ganga, flowing calmly, ghat with devotees, and spiritual atmosphere made us stop the journey a bit, and then proceed with the journey. It was a kind of prelude to the divine feel that we were about to have in Rishikesh. Arriving in Rishikesh As soon as we arrived in Rishikesh, the atmosphere shifted entirely. Rishikesh is what is referred to as the Yoga Capital of the World and is an ideal combination of peace, spirituality, and adventure. Everything in Rishikesh is magic whether through the ringing of temple bells or the view of the powerful Ganga flowing through the centre of the city.

  2. Best Places to Visit in Rishikesh Our trip was short, but we made sure to explore some of the best places Rishikesh has to offer: Triveni Ghat – Witnessing the Ganga Aarti in the evening at Triveni Ghat was a soul-stirring experience. The chants, lamps, and devotion filled the air with positivity. Laxman Jhula & Ram Jhula – These iconic suspension bridges are not just architectural marvels but also offer stunning views of the Ganga and the surrounding hills. The Beatles Ashram – A must-visit for art and history lovers, this ashram is filled with vibrant graffiti and stories of when The Beatles stayed here in the 1960s.

  3. Neer Garh Waterfall – A refreshing spot, perfect for those who love nature. The short trek to the waterfall was worth every step. Shivpuri for River Rafting – Our adventurous side came alive here! Rishikesh is famous for river rafting, and this thrilling activity made our trip even more exciting.

  4. Parmarth Niketan Ashram – A peaceful place where one can meditate, learn yoga, and connect with inner self.
