2. Introduction • SKU Conducts a Common Entrance Test called SKUCET. It is an entrance test for admissions in the various PG programs present in the SKU ( Sri Krishnadevaraya University ) and colleges affiliated with SKU • SKU and its affiliated colleges offer the following Programs:- • M.A • MSc • M.Com • MED • MSW • M.LIBSC • SKUCET is an offline exam conducted once a year students who want to apply for the exam can apply online. the application form is available on the official website. It is a state-level examination conducted usually in the second week of June. the exam is conducted in English and Telegu language only except for language-based tests. A student should get a minimum of 25 % to qualify SKUCET. However, for SC/ST students there are no such cut-off marks. SKUCET consists of three sections that are Section A, B, and C Section ( A& B ) consists of 30 questions each, and Section C consists of 40 questions.

SKUCET Exam Eligibility Criteria • There are certain requirements that have to be met to apply for the exam Known as the eligibility criteria students are advised to look into those requirements and apply for the exam only if they fulfill them. Given below is the eligibility criteria for SKUCET Exam • National Integration Quota:- As SKUCET is a state-level exam( AP) students from other state can get admissions in SKU through National Integration Quota. SKU reserves 5 % of seats for students from another state. • NRI Students :- SKU admits NRI students without entrance exam as long as they have student visa while studying in University. • PG Degree Holders:- PG Degree holders can apply for subject course different from their area of study. • Educational Qualification:- When the admission is based on the degree obtained by the students. Students need to get a minimum of 40% in the qualifying examination.

4. SKUCET Exam Eligibility Criteria • Aggregate:- SC\ST students need to get only pass marks for admissions in SKU. Other category students need to get a minimum score for admissions in SKU. SKU prescribes the minimum score and they are as follows:- • The minimum percentage of marks in group subjects is 40% • Students who want admission in M.ED Program require a minimum of 50% in B.ED • The minimum percentage of marks in Degree \ PG is 40 % • Students who are in their final year of the study program and students who have passed the qualifying exam can apply for SKUCET. • NOTE: Students who are writing the Supplementary papers can’t apply for SKU.

5. SKUCET Exam Syllabus SKUCET Exam Pattern • The syllabus of the exam will be released on the official website students can check the website for more information. After applying for the exam students need to visit the website and check the syllabus and the exam pattern. the SKUCET Syllabus is vast as there are many subject course entrance exam SKU conducts Syllabus for all the subject course is available on the website. Students need to know the syllabus, the important topics, and the exam pattern to prepare better for the exam. SKU conducts entrance exams for the following Courses. • M.Com • M.A • MSW • M.Ed • M.Sc • M.LIBSc • The SKUCET is an objective-based exam conducted in the offline mode. the exam totally consists of hundred questions and there are three sections Section A,B consists of 30 questions each and Section C consists of 40 questions. for every correct answer one mark is awarded. there are no negative marks for wrong and unanswered questions.

6. SKUCET Exam Admit Card • SKU releases the admit card on the official website a few days before the exam. Students can download the admit card by entering the application number and DOB. it is advised that the admit card is kept safe till the results are released as students check the SKUCET result by entering the admit card number • Students are advised to take admit card and ID proof to the exam center without them they won’t be allowed to write the exam. the admit card is a vital document as it contains all the important details of the student and if any of the details are wrong students need to contact the higher authority and inform them and make the necessary changes otherwise they might face problems in the exam hall. • The admit card consists of the details of the exam center. students can select the exam center while filling the application form generally students are allotted the exam center they select while filling the application form but sometimes the exam center gets filled. so the students are allotted another exam center.

SKUCET Exam Result • SKU releases the results a month after the exam is conducted on the official website. students can check the results by entering the admit card number. admission of the students is based on the results. Students are required to score a minimum of 25 % in SKUCET to be eligible for admissions. • Admission of the students depends upon many factors such as the rank secured by the student, availability of the seats and the reservation of seats, etc.
