Introduction • National Council for Hotel Management & Catering Technology Joint Entrance Examination (NCHMCT JEE ) is an All India entrance test organized by the National Testing Agency for applicants to get admission into B.Sc. Hotel Management courses in India. MCHMCT JEE 2021 will be on the 10th of August 2021. The time slot of the exam is from 2 pm to 5 pm and from 6 pm to 9 pm. NTA conducts the exam on behalf of the NCHM council. • NCHMCT JEE 2021 is a national-level entrance test conducted for interested candidates to get admission into B.Sc. Hotel Management courses. All participating Government and Private institutes offering B.Sc. Hotel Management courses accept NCHMCT JEE scores for admission. • The National Testing Agency (NTA) conducts NCHMCT JEE once a year in an online mode. The Application fee is Rs. 1000 for the General/OBC category candidates. For SC/ST/PwD/Transgender categories, the Application fee is Rs. 450. For candidates from the EWS category, the Application fee is Rs. 700. • There is no limit to the number of times aspirants can appear for NCHMCT JEE. However, there is an age limit for applying. The age limit for the General/OBC (Non-creamy layer) category applicants, 25 years. For SC/ST/PwD/Transgender/EWS categories the maximum age limit is 28 years.

  3. NCHMCT JEE Exam Eligibility Criteria • To be eligible to appear for NCHMCT JEE, candidates must click the official website and check the detailed eligibility criteria. Candidates must check the eligibility guidelines before applying. Candidates not meeting the eligibility guidelines will not be selected. • Nationality: Candidates must be citizens of India. • Age limit: For the General and backward categories the maximum age limit is 25 years. For SC/ST/PwD/Transgender the maximum age limit is 28 years. • Educational qualifications: Applicants who have passed their 10+2 exam with English as a compulsory subject can apply. • Medical fitness: Candidates have to show a medical fitness certificate to meet the eligibility to appear for NCHMCT JEE, so they must be fit.

NCHMCT JEE Exam Syllabus NCHMCT JEE Exam Pattern • The syllabus for each section is given below: • English language syllabus includes topics such as, fill in the blanks, tenses, vocabulary, articles, comprehension, idioms and phrases, grammar etc. • Numerical ability & Analytical aptitude syllabus has topics like work, wages, H.C.F, L.C.M, clocks, calendars, profit & loss, percentage etc. • Reasoning & logical deduction syllabus has topics like blood relationships, analytical reasoning, directions, distances, and so on. • General knowledge & current affairs syllabus includes topics like, sports, culture, economics, national affairs, international current affairs, important dates, abbreviations and so on. • NCHMCT JEE 2021 is an online entrance test for students who want admission into Hotel management institutes. The question paper will have 200 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs). • The paper has five sections. • English Language. • Numerical Ability and Analytical Aptitude. • Reasoning and Logical Deduction. • General Knowledge and Current Affairs. • Aptitude for Service Sector. • The total number of questions is 200. The time of the paper is 3 hours. Every correct answer gets 4 marks. Every wrong answer gets a -1 mark. Unanswered questions are not marked. • The examination question paper is available in English and Hindi.   5. NTA has released the NCHMCT JEE 2021 Admit Card on August 3rd, 2021. Candidates can download the Admit Card from the official NCHMC website. Applicants have to perform the following steps to download the Admit Card: • Candidates have to visit the official website. • Applicants have to log in with the Application Number, Date of Birth, Password, and Security pin. • Now, the candidates can click on the “Download Admit card” to view the admit card. • Candidates can save and take a printout of the Admit Card. • Also, candidates have to carry a printout of the admit card on the day of the exam. Without the Admit Card, the candidates will not be allowed to sit for the exam. Only those Candidates who have completed the online application process can download the Admit Cards. • Applicants must keep their admit cards safely as they have to show them during the counseling process.   6. NCHMCT JEE Exam Result • The National Testing Agency (NTA) will release the NCHMCT JEE 2021 Results in September 2021. The results will only be available on the official NCHCMT website. Therefore, applicants must note that the results will not be available offline. • To view the results candidates follow these steps: • The applicants have to visit the NTA website. • Applicants have to enter their Application number, Date of Birth, Password, and security pin. • View NCHMCT JEE Result. • The scorecard will have the All India Rank, total marks, and section-wise marks obtained by the candidate. Candidates cannot make changes in the results. The scorecard is valid for one year from the day of the release of the results. Candidates must keep their scorecards safely to show them during the counseling process.

  7. How to Check the NCHMCT JEE Exam Result? • The students should visit the website daily. To check the result the student can follow these steps: • Visit the main website of KTET. • Click on “Teacher’s corner” at the top of the page. It is a drop-down menu. • A list will appear. The list will have links to all the results posts. • Click on the link you want to visit. • A new page will open. The students can check their results.

How ToApply? • Click on the NCHMCT website and click on “Fill Application form”: • A new registration tab will open where the candidates have to register themselves by filling in personal details. • Applicants have to submit Candidate Name, Date of birth, contact information, and password. • After filling up personal information, the candidate is given their User ID and password on the confirmation page. • 2. The next step is to fill up the Application form: • The candidate has to log in with their user ID and password to fill up the application form. • Applicants have to fill up personal details such as Candidate Name, Date of birth, Gender, Candidate address, Category, Parent’s name, nationality, contact details etc. • Next, aspirants have to submit their educational qualification details such as class 10 marks, class 12 marks, exam name, board/University, and Year of passing. • Lastly, the candidate has to select the exam center. • The applicant can choose up to 4 exam centers. • Applicants have to click on the “I agree” tab and then on the “Final Submit” tab.

Uploading of documents: • In this step, the candidates will upload scanned images of a recent passport size photograph and signature in the mentioned format. • Passport size photograph must be in JPEG/JPG format and within 10-200kb in size. • The Signature image should be in JPEG/JPG format and within 4-30kb in size. • Aspirants should note that they cannot change the uploaded photographs and signatures after submitting the Application form. • 4. Payment of Application fees: • Candidates can pay the Application fee online through Debit/Credit card/Net banking only. Fees cannot be paid offline. • The Application fee is Rs.1000 for the General/OBC category candidates. • For SC/ST/PwD/Transgender candidates the Application fee is Rs. 450. • For EWS category candidates the Application fee is Rs. 700. • 5. Few private institutes also need NCHMCT JEE scores. Q.2. How many times can I appear for NCHMCT JEE? A. There is no limit to the number of times a candidate can sit for the exam.
