  2. Introduction • LEET is the exam that offers direct entry to diploma holders in the 2nd year or 3rd semester. This is a state-level exam. But candidates from the whole of India can appear in it. • The HSTES conducts LEET, Lateral Entry Entrance Test for B. E and B.Tech courses. Engineering is the most common course Indian student opt for. This test is for students who completed 3 years diploma course and wants to pursue engineering. LEET, is for students willing to take admission in the 2nd year or 3rd semester of BE and B.Tech course. This Haryana LEET is a state-level exam and is for colleges within the state. • Across the country, there are many such lateral entrance tests that are for diploma students to take admissions. In Engineering courses in the second or third semester. Students only with good scores qualify for these exams and so get a chance to take admission. Once in a year, the examination happens.

  3. LEET Exam Eligibility Criteria • Education qualification • A candidate of the general category appearing for the Haryana LEET examination must have 45% marks in diploma engineering or three years technological course. This can be from the Haryana State Board of Technical Education or any equivalent institution. The candidate completing a B.Sc. Mathematics degree from a recognized University. As defined by UGC, should obtain at least 45% of marks and passed the 12th standard with mathematics. • Candidate from reserved category must have 42.75 marks in diploma in Engineering and Technology of duration three years. This can be from the Haryana State Board of Technical Education or from any equivalent Institute. B.Sc. degree from recognized University with at least 42.75 percentages of marks and standard 12 with mathematics as a subject. • Eligibility for Kashmiri Migrants • Kashmiri migrants and Haryana migrants have some other relaxation. To look into the eligibility visit the link below. Qualification for Kashmiri migrants is the same as other candidates, but they get a relaxation of 10% in the cut-off marks in Haryana LEET. And each university or institute in Haryana is reserved for Kashmiri migrants for this lateral entry in the second-year engineering course.

  4. LEET Exam Eligibility Criteria • Eligibility for Tuition Fee waiver scheme • Haryana LEET also offers a tuition fee waiver scheme only for those candidates whose annual income is less than 6 lakh. And certain documents are needed to verify the process. This TWF category will be on the merit list of the Haryana LEET examination. • Eligibility for Haryana residents • Candidates from Haryana will have the same marks cut-off, but all colleges will have a 15% reservation for residents. • Eligibility for Economically Weaker Sections • According to the state government maximum of 10% of the seats are reserved for economically weaker section category, to get lateral admission to second-year engineering courses in this category certain criteria are needed • EWS income certificate from the area the candidate is from. • Haryana resident certificate. • Mark sheet of the qualifying examination. • Application fee and counseling fee receipt.

LEET Exam Syllabus LEET Exam Pattern • Section A has all basic science subjects such as Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and Communication Skills, and also General Awareness. • In the basic part section A, LEET mathematics will have a Common chapter. • Section B Electronics stream courses will have chapters such as • The Element of electrical engineering. • Element of Electronics Engineering • Elements of computer engineering • Section C, mechanical stream courses will have subject • Elements of electrical engineering • Elements of production Engineering or manufacturing process • Auto-engineering • Section D has other engineering streams such as Civil engineering courses, Textile engineering, and chemical or printing engineering, Ceramic engineering and Food Technology, and also others this will have it alternative distribution of marks. • In section A, basic science will have 25 questions of 25 marks. Mathematics and physics will have eight questions from each subject. And other subjects in this section will have 3 questions from each subject, carrying 1 mark for every question. • Section B, the electronic stream, will also have 25 marks of 25 questions. • In these three subjects of electrical engineering, the subject Elements of Electronics Engineering will have 9 questions and the other two subjects in this section will have 8 questions in each chapter. • Section C Mechanical engineering stream will have only 20 questions of 20 marks • Element of electrical engineering will have eight questions and the rest two subjects will have 6 questions from each subject. • And other engineering courses will have 20 questions with 20 marks from various topics. Total 90 questions of 90 marks, and each question carries one mark.

  6. LEET Exam Admit Card • Haryana LEET 2021 will be conducted soon and so the LEET admit card will be available on the official site of Haryana State Technical Education Society. From there, students have to download the admit card and sit for the examination. Admit card contains various information such as student’s name, roll number, roll code, and exam date and time, as well as about the exam center. The students have to carry those admit cards along with them before going to the examination center. It is effortless to download the admit card from the website and print the same. • Candidates will not receive admit cards via post. LEET admit card will be available after the correct submission of the application. Any wrong descriptions in the admission form will bring changes to the admit card. So that will not be acceptable during the examination. The candidate should inform the authority to resolve the mistakes printed on the admit card. Along with that date-time and also many other pieces of information are mentioned in the admit cards such as do’s and don’ts. What one should do and what one should not do during the examination. And things to carry inside the examination hall and all basic information to maintain during a proper examination.

  7. LEET Exam Result • HSTES will declare the LEET 2021 result. So, candidates can go through the results on the website and where conducting authority will declare the LEET result. The result will be based on the inter-se-merit list issued by the conducting authority. • Candidates who appeared for the LEET 2021 need to visit the official website of HSTES. Click on the result notification for lateral entry 2021 when it is available. Click the website and put credentials such as login ID and password. The LEET result is available on the screen.

And if even then also equality remains then engineering subjects will be preferred for the tie break. So if all the marks in each section are the same so then the age is preferred.

  9. How ToApply? • The first step, the registration process • In the registration process, the candidate has to fill in certain information in the registration form to complete it. Once registration is completed, login credentials are sent. With all those credentials such as ID and password . The candidate should follow the next step of filling the application form. • Second step, Application form • In which the candidate has to provide all his personal details communication details and education qualification. And also, about LEET exam centers according to the preference. • The third and final step, uploading documents • Candidates need to upload passport size photographs and valid signatures on the application form. And then submit the form in the portal. After completing the process, candidates need to pay through online mode. Debit card, credit card, or net banking. As well as through E- Challan from Punjab National Bank, Axis Bank and also HDFC banks.
