In addition, total 50+ Faculties, specially skilled in the area and have a deep mindset of sculpting students into a professional individuals. Moreover, it offers Bachelor, Masters and Ph.D courses in different stream.

  5. HISTORY Coming into existence in the year 2008, The University has a sole intention to fulfill the requirements of the higher education. Moreover, it offers 23 Courses in Science, 12 Courses in Arts and Commerce. Also, Vocational courses for career upskilling are available. It has total area of 29 acres in Which hostels, Canteen, and educational department are present. In addition, There are around 54 constituent college of this university. This university act as an umbrella for 49 UG and PG college and 5 Bachelor in Education College which have affiliation with the University. The university's motto is Education, "The goal is good" which reflects the dedication towards the mission of the institution.

Science Labs: The West Bengal State University has Separate State of the Science labs for all the Courses, which are being taught on the Campus.

The central library at West Bengal State University has a grand collection of books, journals, databases, audio-visual aids, CDs, DVDs, e-books, project reports, course material, classics and bound volumes of earlier examination papers. These make up a total of a massive 30000+ volumes, with nearly 15000 prominent titles in English and Bengali. Also, as many international journals. Hostels: Also, University has Hostel facilities for both boys and girls Student. With the strength of accommodating a good number of Gentlemen and ladies. The rooms are spacious and designed to give maximum comfort and learning ambience along with a complete resting place to the Students. It also has a supply of more that 1000 lits of water per day in the Hostel premises so that students doesn't have the issue related to water usage

Rural Studies Electronics, Food and Nutrition, Microbiology, Statistics, Economics, Botany, Zoology, and Physiology. Department of Arts have Bengali, English, Hindi, Sanskrit, Urdu, History, Political Science, Philosophy, Education, Sociology, Film Studies, and Journalism. And lastly the Commerce department have departments of Commerce and Management. Moreover, It is a course which students could take up after successful completion of their Higher Secondary (+2).
