  5. HISTORY Itwasestablishedin2017asoneofthefourVelloreInstituteofTechnologyinstitutions by the Vellore Group of Institutions. Additionally, The University has used an inclusive education system that redefines the education and learning process. VIT - Bhopal has been accredited with an 'A' Grade by the National Examination and Accreditation Council(NAAC)andisapprovedbytheUniversityGrantsCommission(UGC). Subsequently, the University has made its place in the Limca Book of Records by placingthehighestnumberofstudentsintheITfieldforsevenconsecutiveyears. Besidesthat,theVITlegacy,whichstartedas Vellore EngineeringCollege 35years ago,contributestocapacitybuildinginournation. Furthermore,VITBhopalUniversityofferstheSemesterAbroadProgram(SAP)andthe International Transfer Program (ITP), which aims to encourage students to pursue a semester (6 months) at one of the most famous overseas universities. All credits received for that semester will be transferred to VIT Bhopal University upon completion of the program. Additionally, VIT Bhopal University has also offered its students an opportunity to spend up to six months as graduate students and partner universities in Australia, Canada, Brazil, China, France, Hong Kong, Germany, Mexico, Portugal, Korea,TheNetherlands,UK,USA, andothercountries. It also has its area spread over 200 acres [200 ha], with a pile of fresh animals and flowers.Thecampushastwoplaygroundswithalargepoolthataddstoitsmagnificent beauty. The wide and well-appointed roads cut through the beautiful grounds of VIT Bhopal, while the observation building ensures the day-to-day safety and security of students, staff, and campus capability. M. Mt. is a database of more than 50,000 books, journals, e-books, magazines,etc. • A multi-purpose hall building built on an area of 2,747 sq. M. Mt. housing Chemistry Laboratory, Mechanical Workshop - meeting internationalstandards. It also hasindoorplay programs. • TheBoysHostelBuilding,locatedon an areaof44,752sq. Km.
