Cloud computing

Cloud computing is the delivery of computing resources over the internet, or "the cloud", on-demand. It allows users to access computing resources like storage, databases, networking, and software without having to own and maintain physical servers and data centers. Instead, users pay for what they use, which can help lower operating costs and scale more efficiently.

  1. Cloud computing Cloud computing is the delivery of computing resources over the internet, or "the cloud", on-demand. It allows users to access computing resources like storage, databases, networking, and software without having to own and maintain physical servers and data centers. Instead, users pay for what they use, which can help lower operating costs and scale more efficiently.

  2. Some examples of cloud computing include:  • Google Docs and Microsoft 365: Users can access work documents from any device with an internet connection. • Email, calendar, Skype, and WhatsApp: Users can access their data from any device at any time. • Zoom: A cloud-based platform for video and audio conferencing that records meetings and saves them to the cloud. • AWS Lambda: Developers can run code for applications or back-end services without having to manage servers. • Salesforce: A cloud-based customer relationship management platform for businesses.

  3. Cloud computing  • Some challenges of cloud computing include data security and privacy. Cloud users entrust their data to third-party providers, who may not have adequate measures to protect it.  • There are four types of cloud computing: private clouds, public clouds, hybrid clouds, and multiclouds. There are also three types of cloud computing services: Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS), Platforms-as-a-Service (PaaS), and Software-as-a-Service (SaaS).
