  1. Measures to prevent respiratory diseases common in rainy and stormy seasons

  2. During rainy and stormy seasons, common respiratory illnesses such as colds, flu, sore throat and pneumonia can spread easily. To prevent respiratory diseases during rainy and stormy seasons, you can take the following measures: 1. Wash your hands regularly: Wash your hands with soap and clean water for at least 20 seconds to kill bacteria and viruses. If soap and water are not available, use an alcohol-based hand sanitizer. 2. Avoid contact with sick people: Limit close contact with people who have respiratory illnesses, especially when they cough, sneeze or have cold symptoms. 3. Wear a mask: When coming into contact with sick people or in crowded environments, wear a mask to prevent bacteria and viruses from spreading through the respiratory tract. 4. Avoid touching your eyes, nose and mouth: Bacteria and viruses can be spread through hands and contact with these sensitive areas. Avoid touching your eyes, nose and mouth unless your hands have been washed.

  3. 5. Respiratory protection: When leaving home, especially in environments with many people or pollution, wear a mask or scarf over your mouth and nose to protect your respiratory tract from bacteria and dust particles. 6. Limit leaving the house when the weather is bad: During the rainy and stormy season, limit leaving the house when not necessary to avoid exposure to bad weather conditions and the risk of getting wet and cold wind. 7. Increase resistance: Maintain a healthy lifestyle by eating nutritious food, exercising regularly, getting enough sleep and reducing stress. Supplement nutrition by eating lots of green vegetables, fruits and foods rich in vitamin C. 8. Keep your body warm: In cold weather, dress warmly and keep your body warm to repel bacteria and viruses. Disinfect and ventilate the living space: Clean and disinfect frequently touched surfaces in the house, while ensuring the living space is airy and fresh. 9. Vaccination and compliance with vaccination schedule: Make sure you and your family have received all types of respiratory disease vaccines according to the recommended schedule from medical facilities. Most importantly, if you have unusual symptoms or health concerns, consult your doctor for accurate advice and diagnosis.
