  4. After the fall of Alexander the Great, the Greek empire grew weak and made it susceptible to attacks from other countries. It eventually fell at the hands of the Roman empire. In most cases, when a country is invaded, the colonizers would heavily influence it. This was not the case between the Greeks and its Roman colonizers. Roman art was heavily influenced by Greek Art.
