Window and glass cleaning work explained by Airdrie experts.
Getting Your Gear Ready - • Bring all of the necessary glass cleaning supplies to the general area that needs to be cleaned. A housekeeping cart with the appropriate tools, or a window cleaning kit, such as our basic window cleaning kit, may be all you need for interior or exterior windows on the ground floor. When compared to ladders or powered lifts, one of our deionized windows washing kits may be the best option for windows higher up on a multi-story building. This eliminates the possibility of an on-the-job accident.
Cleaning Reachable Windows/Mirrors - Apply a thin coat of solution to your window using a window washing sleeve or a spray bottle. On extremely soiled windows, the window cleaning sleeve will remove dirt, smudges, and other stains more quickly and efficiently.
2) If there are any screens on the windows that also need to be cleaned, an automatic screen cleaner will be the most effective way to do it. Window screen cleaning machine works well with any screens that can be simply removed from the window casings. It can clean extremely large screens, up to a patio door size, effortlessly.
3) Squeegeeing Reachable Windows/Mirrors - Using your squeegee, gently press the leftmost piece of the squeegee against the window's left frame. You should slant the squeegee so that only about 1 inch of the squeegee is in contact with the window. Drag the squeegee down with some force to create a 1-inch barrier between the window frame and the area to be squeegeed. With a towel, wipe the squeegee blade clean. Pull your squeegee straight across at about a 45° angle, starting in the upper left corner. As soon as you reach the right frame of the window, slowly turn the angle at which your squeegee is on the glass to begin a "S" motion to return with.
4) Cleaning Windows with a Deionized Water Kit - To determine the quantity of particles in the water, use the included TDS (total dissolved solids) water meter. These contaminants will stick to your window after cleaning if the water is not pure. While resting the brush head against your window, maintain a 20° angle. The majority of your stress will be transferred to the window as a result of this. Start by squirting deionized water into the window frame's corners and rinsing the window from the top down. Continue to rinse the window in a "Z" motion until you reach the bottom of the frame. Scrub the window thoroughly before rinsing it again.
5) Take your rag and wipe down the window frame to collect up any water/solution that may have been missed or splattered onto the sill by accident if you're cleaning by hand. Rinse your clothes thoroughly. Wipe down your squeegee and put it up to dry, along with your rags. All buckets and equipment should be washed.
