  1. Human Psychology- the Mistakes That Our Subconscious Mind Make Every day and Its Repercussions It is actually human psychology that our subconscious brain tends to commit mistakes. These mistakes are surprising but not so grave to be life threatening. These mistakes are surely going to make you stunned when you realize. We usually flock with the birds of same feather or connect to those who match our mental wavelength. We like to befriend those, whose believes are similar to us. This is quite true because we subconsciously ignore those beliefs that challenge our thoughts. The major impact is from the people and information, from which we want to be surrounded. This is termed as confirmation bias, very similar to frequency illusion. There are many examples of it, like a pregnant women notices lots of pregnant women around her all the time. This is basically a passive experience, where the brain searches for information that is related to the personality and the current events. But we believe that there is an actual rise in the frequency of the similar occurrences. The Swimmer’s Body Illusion happens when one confuses selection factors with the ultimate results. Examples like, professional swimmers go through rigorous training s that's why they are decent swimmers and not due to their physique or flawless body. Their body has to be in good shape as per the necessities of selection process and not on the basis of actions. We tend to crawl towards sunk cost fallacy. This is the thing which happens when we lose something or someone. We get attached to it more than the present opportunities that can be more fruitful. We keep thinking about the loss and which inversely affects our work. At times we always try to predict odds even before we give an attempt to it. Like if you are flipping a coin there is a 50-50 chance of result turning as a head or a tail. But if you toss the coin five times and four out of five times the coin comes out to the head side than there are higher chances of flipping on the tail side at the fifth time, right? Well, No, the chances would still be 50-50. This result does not rest on the number of tosses because the odd does not change for any probable circumstance. The most common mistake that is seen in today’s era is when we go out for shopping. We go out for window shopping and we tend to buy little useless stuff that actually serves no good purpose. We tend to satisfy ourselves with the thought that we can use them though they are quite unnecessary. This is called as the post-purchase rationalization or buyer's Stockholm syndrome.
