  1. PROMPT: Write a REPORT to your principal about an incident that occurred during a game in the school yard in the recess period. Include date, time and persons involved in the incident. Planning:First, must plan. This helps you to organise your ideas and to know what you are going to write. PLAN OUTLINE: Paragraph 1: Tuesday 5th July 2020, 10:15a.m., Fairview Primary, Neil Hans, Brian Long, Ryan Sue and Simon John, car was damaged. Paragraph 2: playing cricket, ball struck car, cracks windscreen Paragraph 3: incident related to principal, investigated Paragraph 4: students advised to be more careful, parents asked to pay for damages First Paragraph: Remember what the first paragraph entails. Ensure you have everything needed. INTRODUCTION On Tuesday 5th July, 2020, at approximately fifteen minutes past ten in the morning, Ms. Mark’s vehicle was damaged during a game of football at Fairview Primary School. The students involved in the incident were Neil Hans, Brian Long, Ryan Sue and Simon John of Standard Four, Mr. Raymond. Second and Third (Maybe Fourth) Paragraph: Start with explaining what happened before the event occurred, then explain step by step, how the incident took place. Don’t forget transitions. Neil, Brian, Ryan and Simon were observed playing football near the carpark during the recess period. Approximately five minutes into the game, Brian kicked the ball and it flew past Ryan who attempted to stop it. The ball made impact with a silver vehicle cracking the windscreen on contact. The vehicle belonged to Ms. Mark, a second-year teacher. that Brian needed to take responsibility for this action as it was, he who had kicked the ball. Brian stated that it was an accident and began to cry. Susan Matthew, a standard four student who had witnessed the incident went to relate what had occurred to the vice-principal, Mr. George. All the students who participated in the game stated Ms. Mark was at the scene of the incident. All the students involved were escorted to the principal’s office were the matter was further investigated. Within three minutes, Mr. George, accompanied by

Any punishment or praise given as well as actions taken by persons in authority to prevent misbehaviours or encourage students or even address what took place. CONCLUSION The resulting decision made by Mr. George was that parents of all the students involved had to provide reimbursement for the damaged vehicle as playing in that area was prohibited. The students were reminded to adhere to the rules of the school.
