Users may be charge a fee to perform Product activation to “unlock” the additional features of the deluxe edition. Error Opening Message File When you receive an error message such as “Error Opening Message File” or “Message File Cannot be Found,” follow these step: Controlled Folder Access is a security feature in Windows 10. Please disable this by going to your start menu and typing Controlled Folder. This should bring up the Controlled Folder Access option. Once this is disable, try Legacy again. If The Preceding Step Does Not Resolve The Issue, Proceed To The Following Steps: 1. Remove Legacy completely. 2. Please temporarily disable your Internet security (firewall, anti-virus, anti-spyware, popup blockers, etc.) as these programs can occasionally cause problems when downloading. 3. Save the Legacy setup file (but do not run it yet). Download legacy family tree program. Legacy 8 or earlier: and download your version’s final release (build).
