Alumni Relations UNLV has over 70,000 alumni; 42,000 live in Las Vegas Last year, UNLV alumni comprised 37 % of the donors to UNLV Notable UNLV Alumni: Randall Cunningham - former star NFL quarterback (three time MVP – now a pastor) Kara Kelley – President, Las Vegas Chamber of Commerce George J. Maloof, Jr. – President of Palms Hotel – kicker on UNLV’s football team Anthony E. Zuiker - Creator and executive producer, CSI: Crime Scene Investigation and others

    9. Government Relations Building strong relationships with local, regional, state and federal elected officials and their staff in order to strengthen support of UNLV Providing university officials with prudent, strategic and effective counsel and analysis on governmental affairs issues

Reprographics & Design Services Provide effective printing and publishing consultation services Complete approx.10,000 design, offset and quick print jobs annually Serve 754 employees in 340 departments through on-line services Produce more than 170 faculty coursepacks Promote consistency in use of the University marks in print materials Graphic design services

    12. Public Affairs Media relations Build and promote relationships with local, regional, national and international print and electronic media Promote UNLV’s reputation Ensure that the public and stakeholders receive accurate information Public records laws compliance

Community Relations Strengthen, encourage, and develop cooperative partnerships between UNLV and the community Coordinate major institutional events, including a Democratic Presidential Forum (March 2007); the upcoming CNN Democratic Presidential Debate (November 2007); and the 50th Anniversary Celebration Re-developing a speakers bureau for placement of UNLV speakers in service organizations and local area schools Developed and maintained a database of more than 1,500 community, government and business leaders
