3. Profile of Health Provider Cecilio Gonzales FNP-C, PMHNP-BC, USMLE / ECFMG Certified. Cecilio Gonzales completed his Family Nurse Practitioner program (FNP-C) at Charles Drew University in Los Angeles, California. Before becoming a Nurse Practitioner, he obtained a Medical degree from his home country at Far Eastern University, Institute of Medicine, and received USMLE/ECFMG certification. He started his career as a board-certified family nurse practitioner in primary care in Brooklyn, New York. Eventually, he advanced to acute care hospital practice in California as an Internal Medicine Hospitalist. Furthermore, he also provides mental health care services as a Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC). His extensive education and experience involve attending to patients across the life span (0-100+ years old) in both outpatient and background inpatient settings, which enables him to have a better understanding of taking care of patients in different care settings
