It is an experience worth having for every student who is passionate about being an engineer. However exciting it may sound, it requires immense hard work to clear JEE that gets you in. Out of the million students who appear for the entrance examination, only a few make it through JEE Mains and even lesser through JEE Advanced. If you’re one of the aspirants who are planning to crack IIT JEE with top rank, being confident is the key to achieving what you want. Taking the help of any of the best coaching for IIT might be an added advantage. Here are a few tips and guidelines to follow in order to crack IIT JEE Advanced 2018; •Concept knowledge In general, concept learning is always better than rote learning as it improves your knowledge and makes you more versatile. In order to crack IIT JEE Advanced 2018, you need to make sure that you have understood all the required topics thoroughly. Have a clear idea of all your weak areas and revise them as much as possible. Once you are clear of the basics, the advanced levels will become easy eventually. •Manage time well

  2. Time management is the one aspect which has been stressed on since time immemorial. It stands true for JEE Advanced as well. Since the question paper is usually lengthy, you must manage your time very well. Solving Mock tests and previous year’s question papers is a good idea to develop a strategy and enable you to manage your time well during the exam. •Take short breaks It is important to take short breaks while studying and have ample hours of sleep. Compromising on your sleep will affect your health adversely and might lower your concentration ability. When planning your study schedule make it a point to add some space for downtime as well. •Focus on difficult areas When you are creating your study routine, you should ideally begin with the areas that seem difficult to you. You will have more time to work on difficult topics at the beginning than during the last few months before the exam. This will enable you to turn your weaknesses around and help you crack IIT JEE Advanced 2018. In case you need any external guidance, you can ask your teachers at the IIT JEE coaching. •Extensive practice Practice is an important aspect of exam preparation. Spend your time wisely during studies and devote some for practice sessions as well. Try to solve questions topic wise after you are done preparing for each topic. Once you’re done studying the whole syllabus, you must time yourself solving mock tests. This will give you a feel of the actual exam environment and help you analyze the paper structure better. •Be realistic with your goals Most often than not, students go overboard while designing their study schedule. Hence, it is advised to set goals which are achievable. When dividing your work, make sure that you allot the amount of work that you will actually be able to complete in the allotted time. Try to meet your daily goals and take one step at a time. Unrealistic expectations will only add to the stress you already might be feeling before your exam.
