  2. Structural Steel Material The geometry, the composition and the size define the Structural Steel Grades of a metal. The first Grade of Structural Steel in India is American Society of Testing Materials (ASTM). ASTM A36, ASTM A500, ASTM A572. The second Structural Grade Steel is European (EN) Standards like S235JR – EN 1.0038, S275J2 – EN 1.0145, S355JR – EN 1.0045. The third one is US Standards, for e.g. A283C, A570 Gr 40, A572 Gr 50.
