  1. Pakistan host England in three-match Test series After 17 years, this will be the teams' first Test series in Pakistan. Beginning on December 1, the Pakistan cricket team will host England for a three-match Test series. These three games will be held at Rawalpindi, Multan, and Karachi. Pakistan will host England for the first time in 17 years for a match in the longest format after hosting Australia previously in a three-match Test series. Pakistan is the destination of England's ninth Test trip. In 1961–1962, the first time an English Test team visited Pakistan, the visitors won all three of their matches 1-0.

  2. Head-to-Head • The first head-to-head match between Pakistan and England was played at Lord's in 1954. A draw occurred in that game. Since then, all formats combined have seen 159 matches between the two teams. In each of the three versions, England prevails over Pakistan. • Test match head-to-head numbers between ENG and PAK favour the latter. In 1954, they faced off in their first Test match. Since then, they have faced off against one another 47 times in the longest format of the game, with the England cricket team coming out on top 26 times and the Pakistani squad coming out on top 21 times.
