Odisha Public Service Commission (OPSC)

The OPSC stands for Odisha Public Service Commission has no separate PSC exam it combines with Bihar state which covers exam both states whose main purpose is to recruit skill candidates who might able to handle the job for the state responsibilities. The candidate must have or at least hold a graduate degree from a recognized university with only Indian citizenship. There is an age limit should be between minimum 21 years to maximum 32 years. In OPSC, there is a category wise application fees for candidates.

  2. Introduction • The State of Odisha had no separate public service commission. So, in the beginning, there was no independent OPSC Govt. Exam in the state of Odisha. However, it was the Bihar and Odisha Joint public service that covered the Odisha state. After the bifurcation of Odisha from Bihar, the Odisha was added to the constitution of India under articles 315 to 323. Then, the Govt. of Odisha constituted Odisha Public Service Commission (OPSC) on April 1, 1949. At the time of creation, OPSC comprised three members and Chairman as a part of it. . Afterwards, the number of members rose to five, and further its members rose to six in 1996. Now, the OPSC Govt. exam 2021 caters to the need of the Odisha state for recruiting executive and Non- executive officers in various categories of a post within the state. So, OPSC is responsible for the OPSC Govt. Exam 2021, Simultaneously, OPSC frames syllabuses for the OPSC participating aspirants. • OPSC Govt. exam 2021 Prelims. Besides, Odisha Public Service Commission has also announced OPSC Appointment 2022 notification for 65 Assistant Agricultural Officer Posts. The aspirants can register the application on the online method between November to December 2021. Further, the participating candidates can fill up the OPSC Application form by logging into the official website: www.opsc.gov.in. OPSC does not take any fee for filling up the online application 2022. • OPSC has released the assistant Horticulture Notification and Important Dates . The release of notification date is September 8, 2021, Online Application September 10, 2021, Closing date of Online Registration September30, 2021, and Closing of Online application on October 8, 2021.

OPSC Exam Eligibility Criteria • The OPSC Govt. exam 2021 • appearing candidates must fulfill the following requirement • Firstly, candidates must be an Indian citizen • Secondly, the appearing candidates of OPSC must have reached 21 years of age and less than 32 years ago. • Requirement of Academic Qualification • The aspirant needs to have a Degree. The candidate should receive an undergraduate degree from any UGC or State recognized University. • The aspirants must be well-versed in writing, speaking, and reading in the regional language Odia. or • Secondly, • The aspirants need to complete Class VII education from a school or organization that must have recognition by the Government of Odisha. • The aspirants must have passed Odia language subject in Middle school. Or • Thirdly, • The aspirants must have cleared HC or Equivalent exam in Odia as the medium of examination.

  4. OPSC Exam Syllabus OPSC Exam Pattern • OPSCS prescribes two types of syllabuses. So, the first is the OPSC Prelims syllabus, and the Second is the OPSC Mains Exam syllabus. However, OPSC Prelims Exam Syllabus provides you the knowledge to clear the Prelims Exam. These syllabi don’t get included in the merit, but they enable you the scope of writing OPSC Govt. Mains Examination. • The syllabuses of OPSC Prelims consist of two Papers: Firstly, Paper I, and Secondly, Paper-II. • After qualifying for the Prelims Exam 2021, you are eligible to write the OPSC Mains Exams. • The Main Section has compulsory papers and optional papers. The candidates shall have to make an effort to write the five mandatory OPSC exam papers. And in the optional subject, you need to select two optional OPSC Exam subjects from the listing of the Optional category. In addition, the content of the OPSC Mains Exam is lengthy. Hence, the participating candidates need to prepare hard to obtain a good score in the OPSC Main Exam. • Firstly, OPSC Prelims Exam • Secondly, OPSC Mains Exam • Finally, OPSC Interview • The OPSC Govt.   6. OPSC Exam Result • OPSC Civil Service Mains Result is out. So, the candidates can cross-check the Civil Service Mains Exam by logging official website: www.opsc.gov.in. • As per the notification of OPSC, the commission conducted the Civil Service Mains exam from December 7, 2020, to January 3, 2021. The Civil Service Exam Participating candidates can check the civil service Merit List and Cut off marks at the official website. Now, the candidates who attended the Mains Exam can download the civil service Mains Exam result. Further, the Civil service Mains Exam appearing aspirants must verify the group-wise OPSC Civil Service Cut Off marks and OPSC Civil Service Merit list. Hence, it would enable their rank in the further procedure for certification verification and interviews. The Merit list is available according to the name of the candidate and register number.

  7. How to Check the OPSC Exam Result? • Those candidates who have applied for the exam same must know how to check and download the OPSC 2021 result. How ToApply? • Visit the official website of OPSC: • For registration, press the “Apply Online” button on the top right of the home page. • If you are applying the first time, then register as a “New User.” • If you have already executed and wish to re-register. You press Re-Register” button. • Now, the process for filling up “Registration Online” will display on the computer screen. • Registered users will get diverted to the log-in page and use your Password and User Name. • The website will take the new user to the Application Form for filling up your detail • Upload your Photo Graph ,left-hand thumb impression and a clear full Copy of the Signature. • After completion, press the” Preview Registration” button to verify every correctness. • For correction, Press the “Edit” button. If you are definite, there are no mistakes. • Press the submit button. • Now your registration is complete. • Upload the permitted size of Photograph, Signature Image, Left Thumb Impression.
