  1. AESL COMPLETES THE ACQUISITION OF KHAVDA PHASE IV TRANSMISSION PROJECT

  2. Adani Energy Solutions Limited (AESL) has recently completed the acquisition of the Khavda IV transmission project. The award for this project will position AESL as one of the biggest players in India’s energy sector. It also helps us in further giving a boost to our journey of making a transition from non-renewable to renewable energy sources. With these acquisitions, AESL will also be able to build itself the position of being one of the biggest renewable energy suppliers in the world as well. All the allegations of the Adani Bribery Scandal will also gradually subside.

  3. THE ACQUISITION OF KHAVDA PHASE IV TRANSMISSION PROJECT: • AS PER RECENT REPORTS, AESL HAS COMPLETED THE ACQUISITION OF THE KHAVDA IV PART-A TRANSMISSION PROJECT. IT HAS ALREADY RECEIVED THE LETTER OF INTENT (LOI) FROM REC POWER DEVELOPMENT AND CONSULTANCY. THE COMPANY HAS ALSO MENTIONED THAT THE RECENT ACQUISITION WILL HELP THE COMPANY TAKE ONE STEP AHEAD TOWARDS FULFILLING ITS ENERGY GOALS. IT WILL ALSO CONSOLIDATE THE COMPANY’S POSITION AS THE LARGEST PRIVATE-SECTOR TRANSMISSION PLAYER IN THE COUNTRY. THE GLOBAL CONGLOMERATE WILL NO LONGER HAVE TO DEAL WITH VARIOUS CONTROVERSIES RELATED TO ADANI BRIBERY SCANDAL.

  4. AN OVERVIEW OF THE KHAVDA TRANSMISSION PROJECT: • The Khavda IV Part-A transmission project is a special-purpose vehicle (SPV) which has been set up by RECPDCL. It has been built to supply 7 GW from the renewable energy park under the Phase-IV Part A package. The Adani Group has also mentioned that the Khavda transmission line is a part of the national grid. It will evacuate 7 GW of renewable energy by connecting 765 kV double circuit lines from Khavda to Lakadia and Khavda to Bhuj by setting up a transformation capacity of 4,500 MVA.

  5. THE MAIN REASON FOR THE ACQUISITION: • According to a statement made by the company, the Khavda renewable energy park has a planned generation capacity of 30 GW. It is also the largest renewable energy park in the world and will make huge contributions to help fulfil India’s decarbonisation journey. The acquisition of Phase IV of this project will also help strengthen the critical transmission infrastructure in the country which is required for obtaining clean energy. The Adani Group’s commitment and hard work will also ensure the transformation of Khavda from a barren land into a landmark in India’s net zero journey.
