  1. List of Hints and Ideas Before Kids Go Back to School

  2. Get your kids off on the right foot by being organized this year at home and in school. Have a back-to-school plan back-to-school plan before shopping or packing kids up to go! It'll make things easier when your kids want something specific like a pencil or crayon during homework/ projects time which helps kids stay focused on what they're doing instead of looking around for stuff. Use our checklist below to make sure you've got everything covered-- from clothes and shoes, if kids need new eyeglasses, sports equipment (if any), lunch supplies, kids' school supplies and homework/ projects.

  3. 1) Make a list of everything kids need for going back to school. You can organize kids' clothing into 3 piles: a. stuff to be washed b. stuff kids may wear again unless stained or torn c. special occasion only

  4. 2) Make kids' a checklist for dropping kids off at school. Include everything kids need for the day just in case you forget lunch, homework/projects, shoes--- anything! There are even "parent checklists" that include everything you'll need at a certain age ranges so it's best to look them over before grocery shopping too, knowing what kids will need throughout their time back in school is important.

  5. 3) Put kids' clothes in separate piles based on colour/kids activities kids activities. If kids are in multiple activities, designate a colour for each activity! That way kids can easily find what they need with no hassle.

  6. 4) Wash kids' clothes early so kids have clean stuff to wear right away. Even better if you make sure kids are wearing clothes that haven't been worn much yet because this saves time when getting ready in the morning and gives kids extra confidence! Putting an iron on clothing labels iron on clothing labels might help you to easily identify to which clothes belong to whom.

  7. 5) Organize kids' school supplies. You can use kids' school binders/ folders for keeping kids homework/ projects organized at home! Just make sure kids are using kids loose-leaf paper to take notes on too-- later on, kids can put these in their binder for future reference.

  8. 6) Fill kids backpacks with kids' school supplies. This is self-explanatory but includes pencils, pens, crayons, markers, notebooks, etc. Kids might know what they want to use since they're old enough now but it's also okay to let them try out different kids school supplies to determine what works best for them.

  9. 7) Label everything in kids' backpacks (this includes sports equipment too). You may consider adding personalised name stickers personalised name stickers. A lot of kids seem to lose or misplaced their things quite a bit though, which is why it's always a good idea to have school labels to help identify them.

  10. 8) Pack kids lunches the night before. This is where having labelled lunch bags can come in handy – name labels in Australia name labels in Australia are somehow a usual thing for the parents especially if they have 2 or more kids. If you're not sure if your child needs a lunch box, check with their school to be sure because it's always better to bring too much than not enough-- especially when it comes to packing healthy snacks for kids!

  11. BACK-TO-SCHOOL These are just some of the tips that you can do to begin preparing kids before going back to school. Kids can even organize their own things before the first day of school-- this is best for older kids who are able to find what they need without supervision! At any age, however, it's important to remember to prepare well in advance so kids don't have problems with kids going back to school.
