About university • Almalyk branch of Tashkent State Technical University named after Islam Karimov was formed on the basis of the Provision developed in accordance with the Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan: “About measures to improve the engineers training and technical personnel in the industrial production of the Tashkent region “Dated July 27, 2017 PC-3153, on the basis of the Order No. 516 of August 4, 2017″ On the establishment of a regional branch of the Tashkent State Technical University named after Islam Karimov” in Almalyk city.

  3. There are two faculties in the branch, such as “Energy and Engineering” and “Mining and Metallurgy”.

  4. More than 90 professors-teachers in the departments conduct their professional activities in the branch.  • The departments are: • Electrical and electrical engineering; • Chemical Technology; • Engineering technology; • Mining; • Social and Humanities; • Mathematics and natural sciences in the faculties.

  5. International Relations and Science • The professors and teachers of the branch have  international relations with the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, Institute of Surface Chemistry named after A.A. Chuiko of Ukraine, Kazan National Research Technological University and a Technical University of UMMC. •  The professors of the branch carry on 4 scientific grants of the committee for the coordination and development of technology and science.
