  1. AI Privacy: Protecting Personal Data in the Age of AI

  2. The digital revolution has transformed the business, education, healthcare, research, leisure and entertainment and other sectors. The digital communication and marketing became highly content oriented with the content playing an instrumental role in driving the marketing outcomes. The recent developments in the Artificial Intelligence (AI) have changed the way of working, bringing in phenomenal speed, accuracy, reliability, convenience and cost reduction. The scope and reach of the AI technology is far and wide, much beyond our imaginations. AI has encompassed almost every aspect of our lives, bringing all the information in front of us instantly. The AI system embedded in all the sources and platforms of our technologies which incessantly gathers data in all our application usages. When we make calls, send messages, share information, search for information, listen to music, work on some application, use e-commerce sites; the AI systems are silently gathering our information. This is processed and coded for analysis which offers guiding insights to the product or service companies to communicate their offerings strategically.

  3. Compliance issues It is problematic to find one’s way through how one can be GDPR compliant with AI. According to the GDPR, processing personal data can only be undertaken based on lawful authorization, contractual requirements or consent of the data subject. There should exist a legal basis for processing as well as satisfy particular requirements, for example in the decision-making which has considerable influence on persons, if AI was to be integrated. Take facial recognition software as an example. It is going to be used for access management, crime prevention, or tagging friends on social media. Every use case has different legal requirements and poses different types of risks.

  4. Measures in AI systems for Privacy Privacy by design” would mean incorporating privacy controls into the AI system itself at its design stage right through to end-of-life. This would include efforts aimed at ensuring explicit consent by the users for processing activities, making the processes of data processing quite transparent; collection of data limited to just what is minimally necessary; use of encryption, access limitations, and routine vulnerability assessments in a data security plan with AI privacy meant to protect data privacy.

  5. Ethical AI Applications Ethical AI Deployment: This represents the dawn of responsible AI use. Fairness and transparency are pivotal aspects to combating bias within AI systems and to have responsible data usage. This requires training data, which should be representative and diverse, along with evaluation and alteration of algorithms. Read More : Click Here Source by: aileadersmagazine.com
