  1. Fetal Monitoring: Developing a Culture of Secure With Sensible Choice There are two methods of fetal heart rate monitoring in labor. Auscultation is a method of periodically listening to the fetal heartbeat. Electronic fetal monitoring is a process in which devices are used to continuously record the heartbeat of the fetus and the contractions of the woman's uterus during labor. In Fetal Monitoring Fetal monitors are used to assess the baby’s heart rate and the contractions of the uterus during pregnancy and childbirth. The main objective of fetal heart rate monitoring is to monitor the well-being of the baby. There are two types of fetal monitoring: external and internal. Both types of monitor trace a pattern of the baby’s heart rate and the mother’s contractions onto a strip of graph paper. In childbirth, external fetal monitoring can be done either continuously throughout labour or intermittently. Fetal Monitoring measures the heart rate and rhythm of your baby (fetus). This lets your healthcare provider see how your baby is doing. Your healthcare provider may do fetal monitoring during late pregnancy and labor. The average fetal heart rate is between 110 and 160 beats per minute. Doctors sometimes call this type of fetal heart rate monitoring auscultation. If you need it, the doctor might do a special test called a nonstress test, usually starting around week 32 of your pregnancy. It counts the number of times your baby's heart speeds up during a 20-minute period.Intermittent auscultation is a safe and acceptable Fetal Monitoring method that is recommended during labor with low-risk pregnancies. https://www.coherentmarketinsights.com/ongoing-insight/fetal-monitoring-market-466 Fetal Monitoring, Fetus, Health, Healthcare, baby, Pregnancy, labor, Heartrate, Fetal Heart Rate Monitoring FetalMonitoring Fetus Health Healthcare baby Pregnancy labor Heartrate Fetal HeartRate Monitoring #FetalMonitoring #Fetus #Health #Healthcare #baby #Pregnancy #labor #Heartrate #Fetal #HeartRate #Monitoring There are two methods of fetal heart rate monitoring in labor.
