  1. Ferric Orthophosphate an Iron with many uses Ferric Orthophosphate, is a popular mineral widely known as Iron Phosphate. This mineral is an inorganic chemical containing iron. It is also added to performance enhancers for improving the athletic abilities and stamina. Ferric orthophosphate is the only white iron used in food products like Horlicks, Complan. Ferric orthophosphate has many other food and medical uses as well as uses outside of food and medical treatments Ferric orthophosphate is very important and for various functioning of the human body. It is also used as harmless pesticides snail baits but is not harmful for farming. This mineral is used to treat anaemia or iron deficiency by adding to nutritional supplements. The iron can be poisonous if taken in large dosages. This is a common mineral that leads to iron poisoning in kids who ingest large amounts of vitamins because the vitamins look or taste like candy which they love.
