  2. Want to learn Handbuilding Pottery in Singapore? Then 3Arts is where you should be. Our workshop starts with a handbuilding demonstration. It is important to be present at every step of the learning process in order to learn the skill properly. • This two and a half hour class is ideal for all ages no matter they have any experience in pottery or not. This is clearly a drop-off programme. If parents want to accompany their child, each parent will sign up as 1 pax. At the teacher’s discretion, the “My Cup” workshop will be done for young children who cannot make the fundamental cylinder metal.

  3. Did you know that hand-building is one of the most ancient pottery forms? Through this technique, there are innumerable possibilities in creating your pieces. Be a part of our handbuilding experience in one of our Clay Workshops in Singapore and see for yourself what magic you can create with your hands.  • Observe how clay can be shaped by your hands and molded into wares of all kinds of shapes and sizes. The session focuses on coiling, pinching, and slab rolling methods to make your unique creations. The fees include materials, tools, firing and glazing in one colour by the senior potters. Your handmade piece will be available for collection after eight weeks, as they require glazing with colour and two rounds of firing.

  4. If you want to glaze your own wares, the two-lesson option is for you. You may come back to the studio to glaze your work and choose your own colours, after the pieces have been fired once in the kiln. Lesson 2 (Glazing) is about one and a half hours. We will arrange with you the date and time of your second lesson after lesson one.  • The art of pottery is usually described as relaxing and therapeutic. While spinning clay, your body and mind are in natural synergy, working around your creative goals and ambitions. This artistic, thoughtful activity can open up the mind and relieve you from outside worries.  Given below are the benefits of learning pottery:  * Creative outlet  * Increase optimistic outlook  * Improve focus

  5. * Explore and experimentation  * Reduces stress  * Can help reduce pain and discomfort from arthritis  * Encourage sociability  Thus, if you want to learn Handbuilding Pottery in Singapore, get in touch with 3Arts and start your journey today.
