Government of Punjab Boards Committee of Chairmen PBCC has announced the in extreme dates for Matric Exams 2021 for BISE Lahore and altered other boards of Punjab. Consistent with the schedule issued by Education Department of Government of Punjab, Matric exams in Punjab shall start from July 29, 2021. Exams for matric class shall start simultaneously. The decision for this exams schedule was taken by the Higher Education Department, Government of Punjab in consultation with the chairpersons of BISEs of Punjab during a meeting persisted on April 09, 2021. Previously, Federal Minister for Education and Professional Training Shafqat Mahmood had announced that Matric exams within the country shall be delayed by 2 to 3 weeks. Previously BISE Lahore and other different boards of Punjab have announced that Matric exams shall start from May, 2021 but now due to the severity of this pandemic coronavirus, the exams will start within the last week of July 2021. The duration of matric exams is going to be of two hours. It’s also pertinent to say here that the MCQs portion is increased while the subjective type portion will be short as against the previous practice. The PBCC finalized date sheet are going to be shared with the candidates as soon as it is announced by the government. The exams of matriculation 2021 will commence under the Punjab board of intermediate and secondary education. Punjab boards Date Sheet for matric exams in July 29, 2021 will provide the instruction for all the candidates of matric class, but the exams of the matric part 2 are going to be conducted first and after its completion matric part 1 exams are going to be begin. For more info click here BISE Matric Exams Syllabus 2021 Two months after the commencement of the matric academic session 2021, the Federal Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (FBISE) has issued a revised syllabus for 3 elective subjects. Students will now need to wait for new books, which can disrupt their studies within the middle of the matric academic session 2021. The total marks for Result of 10th Class 2021 have also been increased by the Punjab Board of Education Department from 1,050 to 1,100. If it had been imperative to bring changes within the matric class books 2021, it should be done well before the academic session began,” said a senior FDE official department of education, requesting anonymity. The official department of education said Matric students 2021 were studying islamiat and Pak Studies books published by the National Book Foundation every year. “It is necessary for all the students to study in matric and Intermediate class to study Punjab Textbook Board, by two private publishers. This suggests students tend new books.” The official department of education said that the FDE would approach the National Book Foundation within the next some days for these course books to be purchased. He said the FDE had requested FBISE to not make abrupt changes within the course of matriculation 2021. “But the officials at the Punjab board of education department ignored our requests,” he said. However, FBISE department of education Director Research Zulfiqar Ali Rizvi told Dawn the FBISE took the FDE on board before issuing the notification about matric final board exams 2021. “Before issuing the notification from government of Punjab, department of federal education (FBISE) surveyed the markets to make sure the books of the matric course are available for it’s candidates. The matric books are available for both English and Urdu medium schools. The department of Punjab education boards will not be holding practical exams for both intermediate and matric classes this year 2021, said a statement issued few months later. The decision was taken in a meeting of government of Punjab Boards Committee of Chairmen (PBCC) held in Lahore in which the chairmen of all the altered boards of Punjab in the province participated and reviewed the proposals amid the closure of educational institutes due to the pandemic COVID-19. The statement said that the board of Punjab will not be holding practical exams for both matric and intermediate final papers for the academic year 2021 due to the coronavirus ongoing health crisis in the Pakistan. However, the Higher Education Department of Pakistan refused to postpone the matric and intermediate papers 2021, saying it is extremely necessary to hold final exams for the future of students. Earlier, the Government of Punjab Education Department, in consultation with all the provincial authorities, had decided to conduct exams 2021 for both matric and intermediate students in only elective subjects not compulsory subjects to facilitate the students amid pandemic COVID-19.
