  2. What is Heart Arrhythmia ? • When we feel like our heart beat is too fast or too slow or irregular, then understand that you have Heart Arrhythmia. Basically, if we feel problems related to our heart rhythms, then we have Heart Arrhythmia. Heart Arrhythmia is also known as Cardiac Arrhythmia. In this disease, frequently we feel like palpitations or abnormal awareness of heartbeats. • These problems sometimes seem simple to you so we ignore them but these simple problems can be life threatening so if you find something like this go to a cardiologist immediately and tell them your symptoms and check yourself and keep yourself safe. • Most Heart Arrhythmia can be completely cured with an accurate diagnosis. The normal heartbeat range is between 60-100 per minute, but the average heartbeat range of most people is around 70 per minute.

Causes of Heart Arrhythmia Certain conditions can lead to, or cause, an Cardiac Arrhythmia, include : • Overactive thyroid gland (Hyperthyroidism). • Underactive thyroid gland (Hypothyroidism). • Diabetes • Sleep apnea • Infection with COVID-19 • When a heart attack occurs. • Scarring of heart tissue from a prior heart attack. • Changes to your heart's structure, such as from cardiomyopathy. • Blocked arteries in your heart means you have coronary artery disease. • High blood pressure.   4. Symptoms of Heart Arrhythmia There are no such symptoms of arrhythmia. Regular checkups let the doctor know you have arrhythmia before you. Even if the doctor finds arrhythmia symptoms in you, it does not mean that you have a such serious disease. • Noticeable Arrhythmia symptoms may include : • A fluttering in your chest • A racing heartbeat (tachycardia) • A slow heartbeat (bradycardia) • Chest pain • Shortness of breath  • Other symptoms may include : • Anxiety • Fatigue • Light-headedness or dizziness • Sweating • Fainting (syncope) or near fainting

Types of Arrhythmia Arrhythmia type is known from the speed and placement of your heart beat. i.e. slow or fast, regular or irregular, upper chamber-atria or lower chamber-ventricle of the heart. Tachycardia : This indicates fast heartbeat - a resting heart rate greater than 100 beats a minute. Bradycardia : This indicates slow heartbeat- a resting heart rate less than 60 beats a minute.

  6. How is Heart Arrhythmia treated ? • The Arrhythmia treatment depends upon its type. Tachycardia and Bradycardia, are the types of Arrhythmia. There are several subtypes of these two types. Many of these types are cured by medicines alone. • Some high heart rate and extra beat problems are treated by radiofrequency ablation. This is a minimally invasive procedure done under local anesthesia. • Life-threatening high heart rate problems may require shock giving device called AICD. • Dangerously low heart rate may require a pacemaker.

  7. How to prevent  Heart Arrhythmia? • A heart-healthy lifestyle should be followed to reduce the risk of heart disease to prevent heart disease. A heart-healthy lifestyle can include : • Eating a heart-healthy diet • Staying physically active and keeping a healthy weight • Avoiding smoking • Limiting or avoiding caffeine and alcohol • Reducing stress, as intense stress and anger can cause heart rhythm problems • Using over-the-counter medications with caution, as some cold and cough medications contain stimulants that may trigger a rapid heartbeat.
