  2. Do you easily catch a sniffle? If your answer is Yes, it indicates you have a weak immunity system. Seasonal change is the time when many people fall sick with common symptoms of cold or cough. Mostly kids and elders get affected with these symptoms. It may be due to inadequate sleep, lack of a proper diet or stress. Consuming correct foods helps us to fight against common illnesses.

  3. 1.Dry fruits and Nuts Nuts and dry fruits are every kid's favorite and are very effective in boosting immunity. Every kid likes to have a munch of dry fruits and nuts like almonds, cashews, raisins, dried apricot etc. They have fats that boost the energy level in kids and a good source of vitamins and fiber. 2.Turmeric Turmeric is one of the best spices to boost immunity and a great antioxidant. If it's included as a regular diet for your kids by adding a pinch of turmeric in their milk with saffron and serving them before sleeping, it helps them in growth of bones and teeth.

Besides boosting your immune system, it helps regulate existing cells and produce new ones. 4.Vegetables Vegetables increase the infection-fighting ability as they are rich in nutritions and boost our immunity system. Green leafy vegetables like spinach made our list because it’s packed with powerful antioxidants. Broccoli is another kind of nutritious vegetable; some love it while some don't. Broccoli when consumed as creamy salad or soup, this makes everyone crave it.

Drinking lemon water or amla juice is thought to fight against cold to increase the production of white blood cells. Your first line of defense towards immunity is to choose a healthy lifestyle Exercising regularly helps us to flush out the illness causing germs from our body. Having overweight leads to other health problems. So, maintaining healthy weight is important for a healthy life. For a healthy person, an average of 7-8 hours of sleep is necessary for the body to function properly.
