Designed and constructed to meet the Uptime Institute’s standards, our modular design and construction approach provides customers with the option of either Tier III or Tier IV certifjed colocation space*. In addition to our standard data centre space, our customised modules can be designed and constructed to meet your specifjc technical, security and operational requirements. When you combine this customised approach with a highly secure environment, reliability backed with SLAs and access to a comprehensive range of telecommunications carriers and network services, you have a winning solution. * Tier IV is an option for new clusters construction in accordance with our Tier IV Ready design and then subsequently certified Tier IV Certification of Constructed Facility (TCCF) pending review by Uptime. Uptime Institute Tier III Certification of Constructed Data Center Facility 725 Rack Capacity 5.5MW Scalable Capacity 2N UPS & Telco Power • Highly effjcient UPS with Lithium-Ion battery backup in 2N confjguration with dual A and B path distribution. • Automatic Transfer Switches and external UPS maintenance bypass. • Hot-swappable UPS components and fault-tolerant design improves redundancy and serviceability. • Backup power in N+1 confjguration via Cummins DCC rated generators in a ‘catcher’ confjguration. • Separate and segregated distribution boards providing IT power for high availability and concurrent maintainability. • Comprehensive, real time power distribution monitored with dedicated Network Operations Centre (NOC). Security, Monitoring & Control • Biometric access with dual-factor authentication, high defjnition CCTV cameras. • Module and Rack level security access. • Site wide authentication and individual rack level access control provide for highly secure site integrity. • Full environmental monitoring via our DCIM and BMS software. • Live reporting of power consumption via highly accurate branch circuit monitoring. • 24/7 on-site monitoring and security with additional support provide by our global operations and security command centre. Cooling • High-effjciency, two-stage water cooled in-row coolers in N+1 confjguration and evaporative towers with redundant pumps. • Adaptive frequency VSD driven helical-rotary liquid chillers with dual circuits and compressors and ATS with dual power feed in an N+1 ‘catcher’ confjguration for high availability and effjciency. • Evaporative towers in an N+1 confjguration with 12-hour water storage provide effjcient cooling with high availability. • Heat exchangers provide the ability for further power savings by utilising the cooler ambient temperatures for free cooling. • High-capacity dual power feed in-row coolers with variable flow control and variable speed fan design for optimal effjciency. • Hot-swappable fans in the in-row cooler improving redundancy and serviceability • Physical segregation of hot and cold air for higher effjciency. Modular Build • Data Centre Modules are manufactured in our Australian design and manufacturing facility. • Customisable confjgurations provide for a high level of customer driven options. • Standard confjguration contains 29 600mm 42RU equipment racks @ 5kW. • 200kW IT power capacity as standard (6.9kW per rack average). • Underfmoor power cabling for maximum space above the rack provides for a clean and uncluttered structured cabling environment. Fire Protection • Very Early Smoke Detection Apparatus (VESDA) complimented with conventional and optical smoke and heat detection. • Fire suppression utlises aerosol based chemical interaction extinguishers for a highly efgective, effjcient and safe method of operation. • DXN data centre modules are independent fjre zones ensuring isolation of fjres and no disruption to unafgected modules or zones. • Designed for a 120/120/120 fjre rating for integrity, containment and insulation.
