It is no secret that inner city schools in the United States struggle to contend with suburban and private schools. Kids struggle to linger motivated and regularly come from less nurtured backgrounds than students in the suburbs. Parents frequently work multiple jobs just to help their family and don’t have time to closely scrutinize their children’s performance in school.

  3. While the help of a family plays a large role in a child’s performance in school, so does the role of the state and the federal government. Mainly, states control the funds they offer for the schools within its borders, as well as some states prefer to fund education more than others.

Researched and practiced-based 21st century education design says schools that are not well funded are not capable to supply their students with the required materials and technology to correctly teach them in the modern age we live in today. Along with supplies that students need to learn, without appropriate funding, schools are unable to keep up with the dilapidation of their buildings in order to make an environment that supports learning.
