You can create a profile and share your Jurni with the rest of our community. In the newsfeed, you can learn about mental, physical, and nutritional wellness. As a human being, you feeling seen, accepted, represented, and celebrated is what I aim for. Connecting with you, laughing with you, holding a space for you to cry and feel your emotions: That is where my heart is. Every time I’m asked why I became a clinician, I get shy because my answer is simple: I want to help people. I still remember the first day of my graduate program. We were told that in a few weeks we would start seeing clients. Naturally, we all freaked out because we had no idea how to provide therapy. One professor tried to comfort us by saying, “Therapy is 80% being yourself, 20% providing interventions” (not sure if that made me feel better or worse?). B O O K A N O P P O I N T M E N T
